Center for Positive Marketing to host Advertising Educational Foundation Symposium
The Center for Positive Marketing will host the Advertising Educational Foundation Symposium “Brandalism: Balancing the Give and Take”, Thursday, October 27th from 8:30am - 1:00pm at Fordham's Lincoln Center campus, 113 West 60th Street.
The Advertising Educational Foundation (AEF) is a non-profit operating foundation comprised of leading academics and industry practitioners from agency, media and client companies. It is the principal forum and conduit for rigorous discussion and debate on advertising-related issues. AEF strives to take on the most provocative industry topics and continually elevates and expands the advertising discourse. The AEF are the most trusted authority on advertising educational content and the credible provider of balanced (always telling both sides of the story) representation of the subject matter to the academic community and society at large.
The Annual Symposium brings together the industry and academia to discuss in an open and unbiased manner the pros and cons of various subjects relating to advertising’s role in society history and the economy.
This year’s symposium will tackle ethics and creativity in branded content. “Brandalism: Balancing the Give and Take” will be held on October 27, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus. Beginning with students who are enrolled in Fordham’s Branded Content course, the morning will feature a keynote address by one of the industry’s most prominent figures.
A highlight of the day will be a multi-disciplinary panel representing the various points of view on this controversial subject.
Thought provoking, relevant, packed with sizzle, the event is sure to draw a crowd.http://www.aef.com/on_campus/symposia/2011/1101.
